A fierce warrior, Selainia was taken into the Lamia bloodline, a rarity for her family.  Taking this in stride, she began the job of protecting Lucian, who frequently gets in way over his head.  Finding herself a growing elder, she decided to take the prerogative that was hers and sleep out the years in Torpor, waking only when she was needed.  As the years passed she could compete less and less, the arena of battle for her fellows becoming political rather than physical.  It remains to be see how or if she will deal with this problem.
