GM:
::you're still in the street::

Tien:
::Tien grabs his head and falls to the ground.::

Ricardo:
Holy Theus! Tien!

Tien:
Oooonhh

Ricardo:
::kneels down, not sure what to do::

Aerlyn:
::watches him confused::

Tien:
The snake... or the butterfly.... WHich?

Ricardo:
((are we in the path of traffic?))

Tien:
::Tien's eyes begin to open.::

Ricardo:
Tien, are you okay?

Tien:
So many. So many. But they can not stop the fighting giants.

GM:
((no, prolly not))

Ricardo:
Tien, can you see me?

Tien:
My Don? Why am I on the ground?

Ricardo:
::clutching Tien's robes::

Aerlyn:
::moves over and kneels beside him::

Ricardo:
What happened? You grabbed your head and fell.

Tien:
::Grabs the Don's uniform tightly:: Yes, the Pancreator has granted me a vision of the upcoming battles. Many forces will move to stop the fighting between the Vorox with wings and the black eagle.

Aerlyn:
::looks very confused::

Ricardo:
Vorox? I don't understand. ::shaking head::

Tien:
::Shakes his head then tries to stand.:: Let me collect myself. ::Looks for a bench onwhich to sit. Moves in that direction.::

Aerlyn:
::Moves over with him helping him along:: I don't understand

Tien:
This was my vision: "A winged vorox does battle with a giant black eagle.
A huge butterfly emerges from its cocoon and flies upwards
but is unable to escape, battered and buffeted by the two combatants.
Two red hawks and a white merlin take off towards the melee,

GM:
((bad lee, no quoting directly from the text))

Tien:
((Sorry.))

Tien:
((But I tend to elaberate too much ;-) ))

GM:
((and that's good))

Ricardo:
((that's what makes it sooooo good))

Ricardo:
((and insures that we never get the right meaning))

Tien:
They are followed by other birds of prey. a burgandy Eagle and an egret with a black breast and a red beak.

Ricardo:
::laughs::

Tien:
Yet, not of them together can stop the battle between the two great fighters.

Aerlyn:
Hmmm.... I truly don't understand that

Tien:
And I am but a small mouse, not of any significance ((SP?))

Ricardo:
hmm. Then beware the birds of prey, little mouse.

Tien:
But there is a wigned brute and he can be used to stop the fight or at least to fly me to the fight.

Aerlyn:
Hmmm... interesting. Are these common with you?

Ricardo:
The gargoyle? Yes. Tien has had quite a few visions already. Unfortunately we have not had the best of luck interpreting them.

Tien:
An eagle of the purist silver appears and from it falls a snake

Tien:
Gargoyle? Oh , yes the one attched to the ship. I do not know.

Aerlyn:
How very strange... do any of these forms mean anything to either of you?

Tien:
But this eagle has dropped a snake onto the back of the brute and it begins to move toward m

Ricardo:
My guess is that the two hawks are Maria and myself.

Tien:
Now, they are simply images. I will have to meditate on their meaning. But at this time,

Ricardo:
The snake has appeared before.

Tien:
I think that all the aid that we seek will be all but nought in the upcoming battle.

GM:
((okay, guys, i'm going to bed, someone send me the log.. i have next tuesday off but it's 4th of july so i'm not sure if the rest of you can make it.. but i should be rested))

Tien:
It was the black eagle that dropped the snake, not the silver. ::Closes eyes:: I need to

Aerlyn:
((Ok... cool,))

Tien:
((OK. WIll do.))

Ricardo:
((what they said))

Tien:
No, wait, the snake falls from the black eagle onto the silver egret's back.

GM:
((night))

Tien:
The snake is attacking the silver egret. I can only save the butterfly. Or stop the snake's attack

Ricardo:
So the egret is silver with a black breast and red beak?

Tien:
No, a second egret. One made of silver is flying under the battle and the snake falls and attacks the silver egret. The other egret, with the black breast and red beak is trying to stop the fight between the vorox and the black eagle. The fight between the Vorox and the black eagle is a distraction so that the snake can strike. The fight also is to stop the butterfly form escaping. Or that may be a side effect of the battle.

Aerlyn:
Strange.... I am lost completely...

Tien:
Yes, so am I. The Pancreator';s vision is strange. Perhaps I am a weak tool and the vision is lost.

Ricardo:
((in every game I play, the GM hints are always indecipherable))

Tien:
But, I know that I may have to make the choice of saving the butterfly or the silver egret. Either help the butterfly escape of stop the snake's attack.

Aerlyn:
Do any of those forms make since. Have you ever seen any of those in a vision again

Tien:
And as I make that choice, the vision changes.

Ricardo:
The snake and the hawks

Tien:
Yes, the snake was on of the symbloms of the unholy who killed our companions and the husband of our former engineer

Aerlyn:
Interesting... How does it change?

Tien:
I think that the snake gets the black eagle to fight the vorox so that it can drop onto the egret. IT's real attack is being directed to the silver egret.

Ricardo:
Could the white merlin be Ruiz?

Tien:
No, I think that the white merlin, is Brother ((Shoot, forgot his name))

Ricardo:
That's what I thought at first. Until I realized that the black eagle is his nemisis. A former Brother Battle. The burgundy eagle seems to fit the analogy better.

Aerlyn:
Perhaps... interesting.

Tien:
perhaps you are right.

Ricardo:
I do believe our new friend here is the egret with the black breast and red beak. You are the mouse, Tien.

Tien:
They could also be the symbols for the others that I have suggested that we contact to aid our cause. But who could the brute with wings be? THe charioteers?

Ricardo:
The butterfly really confuses me. Not to mention the vorox.

Aerlyn:
Yes... it does. Butterfly... rebirth.. somone reborn, maybe a reborn world.

Tien:
perhaps is it not a rebirth. Just a transformation.

Tien:
A worm wraps a cacoon around itself and then becomes a beautiful butterfly.

Aerlyn:
Into something new... strange

Ricardo:
((That was weird.))

Tien:
But I have onbly seen the butterfly emerge from the cacoon.

Aerlyn:
Something that can change...

Tien:
It amy be the beautiful world onwhich we are now standing.

Ricardo:
But what is this conflict with the Vorox?

Tien:
It is a must uncomforting vision, for, as I come the the knowledge that I can save only one of egret/butterfly, I am transported to the last world on which I stood and see Anhetepf and obelia and we are destroyed in the explosion of that world. This is the most complex vision that I have ever seen.

Ricardo:
So you are transported to the planet in the vision?

Aerlyn:
Where were they? You saw them? Were you anywhere you can recognize?

Tien:
I turn from the scene of the fight and am standing in the halls of the world within the Dark. I was standing in a room and we turned dails and threw switches. But the time counted down to 0 and we died reaching out to each other. ::Tein's head droops to his chest.::

Aerlyn:
It was you, and the two others... you were inside the third.

Tien:
Yes, she was a part of me. I felt as if she was my other half... :;Tien gets quite.::

Ricardo:
Maybe... maybe we should get Tien a place to rest. Maria and I can look to the nobles here to try and get help.

Aerlyn:
Perhaps that is the best idea

Tien:
Yes, a quite meditation area with much sunlight. That will help me think. Let us be off to your cousin's house. We can start there. ::Tien stands.:: Yes, my head is feeling better.

Tien:
((OOC?))

Ricardo:
((sure))

Tien:
((Feelings? )

Aerlyn:
((I don't get it...arg!))

Tien:
~~~~~~~~~~OOC~~~~~~~~~
Tien:
Stephen works hard on these visions and then I get to mess them up.
Ricardo:
parts of it I think I know but parts are just grabbing at straws.
Ricardo:
like I said, every GM I've been with has tried to give clues that should be obvious
Tien:
I really that the unholy brother battle is going to use someone else
Ricardo:
but noone gets them.
Tien:
as his method to get to the ultimate targer, the Silver egret.
Tien:
We oviously are going to meet a force, the winged vorox.
Tien:
Perhaps that is the symbol for the planetary authority.
Aerlyn:
Maybe hmmm....
Tien:
Why do you think that the burgandy eagle is the brother battle?
Ricardo:
but why a vorox
Ricardo:
because it matches the other eagle, the former Brother Battle.
Tien:
I think that he used the vorox as a symbol of military might. Raw power
Aerlyn:
Hmmmm... burgandy... black and red... blended... maybe
Ricardo:
the birds of prey I view as fighter type characters.
Tien:
Yes, but the brother battle, the unholy, is more often the snake.
Ricardo:
I don't think that he is the snake. I think that is someone else.
Ricardo:
When's the last time you visited the webpage Stephen set up for this game?
Tien:
shortly after he set it up.
Aerlyn:
No the snake I believe is the woman we fought the first game
Aerlyn:
The one that Fizz could not control his lust over
Tien:
That is possible.
Ricardo:
yeah. unfortunately I think she has ramifications closer to my character than I like
Tien:
You mean the mother of your son?
Ricardo:
anyways, I think the silver egret is the Chorali
Ricardo:
doh. you're touchin' a nerve there boy.
Tien:
Why?
Aerlyn:
Perhaps... hmmm.. would make sense
Ricardo:
I figure if our "Child of Decados" is the other egret, there is a match somehow.
Ricardo:
Cam, you said your character is more of the scholarly type, yes?
Tien:
That fits.
Aerlyn:
Yes... somewhat...a little of each
Ricardo:
well, that fits with the Chorali too, can help in a fight but has other skills
Aerlyn:
Right...
Aerlyn:
The butterfly confuses me....
Ricardo:
now, the butterfly and the Vorox completely confuse me.
Ricardo:
And what's with the focus on wings? winged-vorox & winged-brute
Aerlyn:
Yep they both do as well with me. I'm not sure... flying things
Ricardo:
and note the snake never has wings
Tien:
Everone can fly, except me. I don't think that the snake could fly. It just dropped.
Tien:
Guys. I going to end the log and go ahead and mail this to Stephen.
Aerlyn:
Perhaps a space battle and you are stuck on planet?
Ricardo:
There's the other wrench. Why couldn't Tien help out until he got with the brute?
Tien:
Now that is possible. Or the brute could be the gargoyle and I need to get it to take me so
Tien:
somewhere.
Ricardo:
And why bring up the deaths of An, Ob, and El at the end?
Ricardo:
Isn't that past tense?
Tien:
I think that it is shadowing what is to come if we do not succeed.
Aerlyn:
Maybe.
